Lectors

These are Proclaimers of God's word of the Scriptures at Parish liturgies.  Persons in this ministry serve as official, mandated representatives of the Church.  A catechetical training program is required, along with a mandate by the Archdiocese.  Persons serving in this role are not only proclaimers of the word at liturgies, but are living symbols of the word, instruments of the word that the Lord shares to nourish His people.
