Our Junior High Math program is taught and graded using a Standards Based Learning Model. Students have the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of concepts by focusing on daily objectives. Students are encouraged to retake all objectives until mastery is achieved. Students in grades 6-8 are placed in math classes based on Terra Nova test scores, in-class performance grades and teacher recommendation. Math courses will include 6th Grade Math, 7th Grade Math, Pre-Algebra and Algebra.
